Insolv PI seat terms
The seat
- A seat lets your firm appear as one of the insolvency practitioner firms shown to consumers in one postcode area catchment who open the debt and insolvency tab.
- Three seats per catchment, five in Metro catchments. A firm can take one seat, several, or every seat in a catchment. A firm holding several seats in a catchment is shown to the consumer once, and fewer other firms are shown. The first firms to pay take the open seats.
- Seat holders must be insolvency practitioner firms with an appointment taking IP licensed by a recognised professional body. Debt packagers and introducers cannot hold seats.
Price and payment
- Each catchment has one setup fee and one monthly fee by its size, Small, Standard or Metro, shown on the price list, ex VAT. VAT is added at 20%.
- The initial payment is the setup fee plus the first month. The monthly fee is collected by Direct Debit from month 2.
- A seat is held for 30 minutes during card checkout, or 7 days where Wolf issues an invoice. An unpaid hold lapses and the seat reopens.
- If payment arrives after a catchment has filled, Wolf refunds that catchment in full.
What Wolf provides
- The consumer tab, the seat listing, the firm inbox and the transfer of passports a consumer chooses to send to your firm.
- Wolf does not advise consumers, does not rank firms or solutions, and shows every consumer a signpost to free debt advice.
- Wolf does not promise any number of consumers or passports.
Your firm's obligations
- Give advice on each passport under your regulatory obligations, including the Insolvency Code of Ethics and the relevant Statements of Insolvency Practice.
- Act as an independent controller of each passport from receipt, and handle consumer rights requests for your copy.
- Pay no other party for consumers introduced through Insolv PI, and receive no payment from consumers for being shown.
- Keep your firm code private.
Ending a seat
- Wolf may suspend a seat 14 days after a failed or reversed payment that remains unpaid.
- Either party may end a seat on the notice period set in the full seat agreement.
