Privacy notice: debt and insolvency options

Version PI-CONSENT-1, 8 October 2026. Applies to the debt and insolvency tab inside Wolf consumer claims platforms.

In short: nothing about your debts is shared unless you choose a firm and tick the box to agree. Wolf deletes your details 30 days after sharing them. The firms shown pay Wolf a fee to appear.

Who we are

Wolf AI Labs Limited (Company Number 16609169, ICO registration ZC177753) provides the debt and insolvency tab and is the controller of your information until it is shared with the firm you choose. Contact: accounts@wolfailabs.com.

What we collect

  1. Your name, email, phone if you give it, home postcode and how you want to be contacted.
  2. The money figures you enter: what you owe, number of creditors, income, essential spending, assets, vehicle value, whether you own your home, and money identified from your claims.
  3. Any support boxes you tick. One of them is about your health, which is special category information, and is shared only with a separate tick.
  4. A record of which firms you were shown, which one you chose, and when you agreed.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  1. To show your options against published limits, because you asked us to (contract, UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Nothing is kept if you stop or choose Not now.
  2. To share your details with the firm you choose, with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Health information needs your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)).
  3. To produce anonymous counts by area for the firms, such as how many people in a postcode sector asked for help. Counts under five are never shown and no one can be identified (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)).

Who we share it with

  1. Only the insolvency practitioner firm you choose. Once it receives your details, that firm is responsible for them under its own privacy notice.
  2. Our service providers for hosting, storage and email, under contracts that only let them act on our instructions.
  3. The firms shown pay Wolf AI Labs a fee to appear for your region. This does not change the order they are shown in, which is random, or the options shown to you.

How long we keep it

  1. If you do not choose a firm, we keep nothing.
  2. Your details, figures and support boxes are deleted 30 days after we share them with the firm.
  3. A record that we shared them, with whom and with what consent, is kept for 6 years and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object, or withdraw your consent at any time by writing to accounts@wolfailabs.com. Withdrawing consent stops any further sharing. For information the firm already holds, contact the firm too; we will pass your request on within 5 working days. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Advice

Wolf AI Labs does not give debt advice. The options page compares your figures with published limits only. Free, impartial debt advice is available across the UK from MoneyHelper at moneyhelper.org.uk.
